GUSTO E PROFUMO

Il miele di Acero ha un sapore abbastanza persistente e molto particolare. Ricorda infatti il nocciolo della ciliegia. Il suo particolarissimo e buonissimo sapore ricorda le caramelle mou, è per questo molto apprezzato anche dai piu’ piccoli consumatori.

ASPETTO

Il suo colore è simile all'ambra. È un miele di colore beige scuro quando è cristallizzato. La cristallizzazione avviene lentamente.

USI IN CUCINA E ABBINAMENTI

Ottimo sostituto dello sciroppo d'acero sopra ai pancake alla mattina, spalmato su una fetta di pane arrostito o in abbinamento a formaggi dolci e noci. Si presta bene anche nelle macedonie di frutta o come dolcificante di infusi/tisane fruttate.

LA PIANTA

I fiori sono ermafroditi, di un colore giallo tendente al verde e riuniti in infiorescenze lunghe 7-10 cm.

La fioritura avviene contemporaneamente all’emissione delle foglie nei mesi di aprile e maggio.
